Alan Litrownik, Ph.D., is a Co-Investigator on Project FUERTE. Dr. Litrownik has over 30 years of experience designing and evaluating interventions targeted at high-risk children, youth and their families. He was Principal Investigator on the Hispanic Adolescent Migrant Project and Co-Investigator on the Sembrando Salud project. He is currently Principal Investigator on a 20-year multi-site study funded by the Office of Child Abuse and Neglect that follows maltreated children and their families prospectively and involves the assessment of child, parent and family functioning domains in an effort to identify protective and risk factors related to the outcomes of maltreatment. Dr. Litrownik is Professor Psychology at SDSU, and a member of the SDSU-UCSD Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program faculty. He is a former Chair of the Department of Psychology (SDSU), Associate Dean for Curriculum and Academic Planning (SDSU, North County Campus), and Chair of the Steering Committee for the SDSU-UCSD Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology.
